Wind chimes

A permanent installation that aims to mimic the sound and movement of its namesake. Groups of robotic mechanisms are mounted to the ceiling and ring to guide guests toward the auditorium.

​

Designed the housings to meet functional requirements, fit within New York City building code, and optimized the design to save cost.

​

Performed FEAs, ran simulations, worked with PE engineering companies, and coordinated with architectural engineers to make sure the mechanisms were safe to hang and run above the guests. Held PDR and CDR to ensure the designs met department standards.

​

Assembled, troubleshoot, and harnessed dozens of housings, making up 250+ individual mechanisms. 
 

Beneath the Trees

Fabric LED panels that hung from the ceiling to portray custom images above guests. A shroud was put above the panels to make them meet New York City fire code.

​

Designed the shroud to meet ceiling conditions and fire code requirements, coordinated with architectural engineers, and worked with vendors to drastically reduce prices.

Stripe

A dynamic display highlights Stripe’s solutions and data, customizable to each individual and presented at their eye level as they walk up to the exhibit and scan their ID.

Created the mechanical system and structure that housed seven touchscreens, cameras, RFID readers, lights, and sensors for an interactive exhibit permanently installed in Stripe's California office.

​

Worked with the PE engineering company to ensure that it meets San Francisco building regulations.

Bezels for Stripe​

The California office had multiple exhibits, many of which had screens and bezels. 

​

To keep all aspects uniform, I also created the bezels for the Library and Climate wall exhibits. â€‹

Google Imagen

A temporary exhibit for a Google event, the brain is a mechanical flip-book.​

​

Helped take the prototype to production of the 16 in flip-book. 

​

Spotify Blendship Bracelets

A wearable light-up bracelet for TikTokers to wear to promote the new blendship feature. â€‹

​

Helped troubleshoot and produce dozens of bracelets.

Other

Worked with Engineering Project Managers, Producers, and creative to estimate time, money, and resources together to build RFPs.

SolidWorks PDM

Implemented SolidWorks PDM, created design workflows, deployed updates, and maintained the system.

Gizmology

Deeplocal’s one-year creative technology apprenticeship program for high school graduates and underemployed adults in Pittsburgh’s Black community. Our goal is to advance racial equity in creative and technical fields through on-the-job training and mentorship. Apprentices receive full-time salary and benefits—no college degree required.
